Everything About the 988bet Welcome Bonus
When you decide to join a sportsbook, the welcome bonus is usually the first thing you look at. But not all bonuses are created equal — and that's where 988bet stands out. Here, the rules are clear from the start, the rollover is fair, and the timeframe gives you plenty of room to make the most of your extra funds without feeling rushed.
Here's how the 988bet sports bonus works: make your first deposit and the platform matches it 100%, up to R$ 500.00. Deposited R$ 100.00 via Pix? You get an extra R$ 100.00 in bonus balance. Deposited R$ 500.00 or more? You unlock the maximum bonus. On top of the match bonus, you also receive a R$ 50.00 free bet to use on any sports wager with minimum odds of 1.80.
What Is a Rollover and How Does It Work
Rollover is the wagering requirement you need to meet before you can withdraw the bonus amount. For the 988bet sports bonus, the rollover is 5x — meaning you need to wager 5 times the bonus amount received on bets with minimum odds of 1.50. If you received R$ 200.00 in bonus funds, you need to place R$ 1,000.00 in total bets to release the balance.
Compared to the rest of the market, a 5x rollover for sports is highly competitive. Many platforms require 8x or more, with tighter restrictions on which bets count toward completion. At 988bet, both single and accumulator bets meeting the minimum required odds count in full toward the rollover.
Casino Bonus: Free Spins & More
Whether you prefer Live Casino, slots, or blackjack, 988bet's casino bonus has plenty to offer. On top of a 100% match up to R$ 300.00, you also get 50 free spins to use on the platform's best slots. Winnings from free spins are credited as bonus balance and are immediately available for use on casino games.
The casino bonus rollover is 20x applied only to bonus winnings — not to your deposit. So if you used R$ 300.00 in bonus funds and won R$ 50.00, you need to wager R$ 1,000.00 to release that R$ 50.00 for withdrawal. Your original deposit remains available for withdrawal at any time, with no restrictions.
Recurring Promotions for Active Players
The welcome bonus is just the beginning. 988bet keeps a full schedule of weekly promotions for existing customers: up to 15% cashback on football bets every Friday, weekly free bets for the weekend accumulator, free spins on selected slots every Monday, and access to a VIP program with growing rewards as you level up.
For regular Brasileirão bettors, the boosted accumulator promotion is especially rewarding. Select 4 or more matches and an odds bonus kicks in automatically, potentially adding up to 50% to your total winnings. Combined with 988bet's already competitive odds, that's a combination hard to find on other Brazilian platforms.
Payments & Withdrawal Speed
Once you've met the rollover, withdrawing your winnings at 988bet is fast and hassle-free. The most popular option among Brazilian customers is Pix, which processes withdrawals in minutes — any time of day, including weekends and public holidays. The minimum withdrawal is R$ 30.00, and the platform charges no fees on Pix withdrawals.
Beyond Pix, you can deposit and withdraw via boleto bancário, credit/debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago, and TED bank transfer through Brazil's major banks including Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil. 988bet charges no extra fees on deposits, so every BRL you send lands in full in your betting account.
